I bought this USB serial adapter, because I had my brick your TP Link WR1043ND. First: The cable is working and my router goes again. The cable is really well made (for 5 items), making just what it is. A guide would (explain color of cable, etc.), however, do no harm However, it was not so easy to persuade this cable to work with Windows 8. I have done it then but still:
