Wanted with the map 250gts replace a power-hungry GeForce. The goal was no increase in performance, but a reduction in the electricity bill. Application primarily office, internet, online video on two Full HD monitors, secondary times a little game. Despite drivers NEW installation and update the motherboard chipset, there was constantly hanger and stuttering. The picture I found the way, not the hammer, although the parameters agreed (frequency and resolution) for both monitors. Interestingly, the theoretical Win7 Experience Index graphics card rose from 5.5 to 6.7, but in practice did not fit the! Really bad it was, as on a monitor online videos ran (Dmax, so really not demanding, both on the quality and content ;-)) and I was in parallel on the second monitor in the net! Freeze up to half a second, and that has nothing to do with the Internet connection! Then map uninstalled the old reingesetzt again! Now everything is running properly again and the electricity meter continues to rotate his rounds! Incidentally, the housing has good fan from be quiet, so I conclude also from overheating!
Map goes back and see if I try out a Geforce 750 with additional power connector!
NB: Meanwhile, I have an Asus NVIDIA GeForce GTX750TI OC graphics card (PCI-e, 2GB GDDR5 memory, HDMI, DVI, VGA, 1 GPU) installed with a separate power supply and works flawlessly! Maybe, just maybe, it was the power supply via the system ... the board has PCIe 1.1 standard and is therefore a bit older! Actually, this should not be a problem, but ...
Fortunately Asuskarte in office use is virtually silent, so I can live very well with the current solution!
