But first things first. I have an Epson projector on which I wanted to connect a PS3, a Horizon HD recorder and a PC. So I thought a switch with an amplifier solves my problem was that I wanted to just lay one long cord through my living room.
Run the Switch is very fast, which is the only positive. It consists of a sturdy metal case. As good as the quality of the switch is so cheap is because the remote control.
I closed the switch at the output of the already installed 15-meter HDMI cable and connected the Playstation with a 0.5 meter long HDMI cable. The result on my canvas was a very pixelated picture. So I took the manual, stand in that this is certainly the HDMI cable. One should connect an HDMI cable that matches the AWG24 standard. This cable I looked at Amazon and found a supplier (incidentally the same one who sold me the Switch # Converter gates # alias Deluxcable). I thought to myself that I'm doing whole hog and have me this cable ordered for 36,75 Euro + 5,95 shipping a total of 42.70 euros. At the point to be noted that the information regarding a AWG24 cable also might like to be in the product description of the switch when it just so works.
Granted, I have connected a second source before ordering the HDMI cable, but unfortunately could not be switch between sources. I assumed that the fault lies also on the cable.
The AWG24 HDMI cable also came promptly. When it was there, I joined the new cable. As long as I had connected a source, I could see this source without interference, I turned another source went nothing more. Not to mention a third source.
The main function therefore was not working. I wrote to # Converter gates # alias Deluxcable who informs me rushed that I can return the product at my expense and that it is then checked. This offer I did not notice, but have both returned. The AWG24 HDMI cable had incidentally also a mistake, but that can be read in a separate review.
Since I was able to pay the shipping cost for both the sending as well as the shipping fees for the return of two products themselves, the fun has cost me a whopping 18.89 euros and were the flawed for two products.
So I can only advise them to buy one of the two products. That you have to pay shipping costs if the product is to be tested or to be sent back because it does not work, is a very good argument for the retail industry, because as you pay a penny if the products do not work.
PS: Converter Store sent for my return a mail and a video of them carried out the experimental setup. Since the switch worked. That is why trying to differentiate in the financial statements: For me, the switch did not work when I have a Playstation, a Horizon HD recorder and an Epson projector connected to it.
