This worries arises on two levers, which seems to me clear that the concern comes from the adapter.
I disassembled the case to see if there was not an obvious concern.
Hard to say. A part is not welded but glued, the transistor has a big brand, a weld is really badly done. And the object was apparently made in 2010 by the date on the plate, but the 2012 date stamp.
