Does not work with Xperia Z3

I have more recently a Xperia Z3 and wanted to charge the device with the help of this dock. Once that has already not working with a much more affordable docking station from another manufacturer, I decided for the slightly more expensive, original Sony product. High price, original accessories from Sony - which should certainly work perfectly I thought.

The dock comes with 4 adapters: Two for the Z3 and two for the Z3 Compact, each an adapter for the phone with cover and one without.

However, probably the gap size of the supplied adapter for Xperia Z3 (without protection cap) just too big, so that the phone recognizes the docking station only when it is tilted with a slight forward pressure and holding. Leaving the phone to get rid of is finished charging. Thus useless.
