I had a problem on one of my cameras to set the detection zone via the web interface. Excluding the "free" version of mydlink does not include this feature as this paid version yes (we can also change other parameters inaccessible in free version). Displaying multiple cameras can be useful on a tablet (the entire interface is adapted elsewhere tablet). A bit strange that D-link makes two quite distinct software especially made to pay one and not the other but hey the asking price (70c) is not necessarily bad if you use additional options and mode multi-camera on a tablet.
