Have I indulged in this head as a substitute for the Cullmann CB5.1, and a first: The higher price is worthwhile in any case. During Cullmann not keeps its promises (just works already at 1.2 Kg m), keeps the Manfrotto 492 even more than the manufacturer's specification of 2kg, and also in the slope.
I use the Manfrotto head on my Cullmann Copter Magnetsit (which in turn is a super product from Cullmann). Overhead is a EOS EF-S 15-85 with attached (relatively heavy). The Manfrotto head is super processed and has a good course and lush dimensioned threaded on the parking Schaube, not a toy ...
The arbitrary arretiebare locking lever and the supplied 1/4 "to 3/8" adapter make the good impression perfect!
