Well - that is, the charger charges the battery and requires this estimated 5 - 6 hours. The "guts" of the charger are relatively "cheap" and not particularly reassuring. Nevertheless, the charger does what it should, and indicates when the battery is full. I use the charger with a removable battery, and have so always handle a fully charged battery to. So if the battery times have become quite empty, and I need quickly a full unit, then the battery will stop once just exchanged, and the empty battery travels for 5 ... 6 hours in the charger. Until now my charger has the battery always load correctly, so I can not complain so far.
