We bought the microscope for the seventh birthday of my daughter. The first impression was: "Hmm, all plastic." (Except the holder brackets are made of metal). My daughter found but everything great and has no left ran. An hour later, she found a dead wasp, which I should also consider. I was pretty Baff on the magnification factor, as I looked at the animal. The compound eyes could be seen very good and clear as well as the pearly whites and hair of the wasp. The entire family now collects daily new little things and all look diligently through the microscope.
