The pros:
- Quality manufacturing
- Does not amplify the sound of the disc as some boxes forming resonance cage
- Double connection mode: USB e-SATA +
- Complete bundle: USB3 cable and e-SATA, housing holder, 3 outlets (US, UK, EU), the door lock key
- The external power connector can replace electrical outlets provided by a standard cord with flat female connector (useful for connection to a power strip)
The -:
- Bulky case
- A small fan could be mounted on that big box to better cool the disk
- LED unreadable activity: awaiting the LED is bi-color (blue + red) fixed when it should be blue to meet the standard; in operation, the LED should blink or appear in purple, while it remains fixed and two-color flashes in case of short disk access. When read / write long, impossible to know if the disc is still pending or active.
