I own a Sony Xperia Z2, which can be loaded easily on the magnetic poles using this dock.
A permanent opening of the closure, after which the USB charging plug can be found at Z2, thus omitted.

The Z2 is reliable in the holder, even with Shutzhülle charging is possible. The connections on the docking station are stable and do not wobble. Overall, the unit makes a high impression, although a piece of plastic is "only".

The power connector (micro-B USB) is located at the back, more connections there are not (and are not required, the station is only intended for charging). (Psc = 1), where the magnetic contacts are open, and a leather case with cover to unfold as a protective cover was both a simple plastic bag used. In the latter, the leather cover must first be folded back, but the station has enough game to load the Z2, without having to take the phone out of the case.

The only drawback is that the magnetic contacts do not always engage immediately. The charging station is with me on the bed. Especially in the dark and with one hand, the placement of the Z2 prepares sometimes a little problem, because there is no leadership. Is best to think the smart phone with both hands and in the light of the station, then it will come easily.

I have since bought a second, identical charging station and this further away - the gift was very well received. ;-)
Therefore, the station gets from me a buy recommendation.
