The anti-static wrist strap is super! The first thing I want to deny expressed by some customer concerns here! I am a trained electronics engineer and me should know about a little in the matter! Some customers wrote that from alligator clip to the wrist-contact no through measure can - Well, this is normal! Because the bracelet has a resistance of 1 megohm (1,000,000 ohms!) - There I measured it with my meter and is everything right so! Now for the Laity: Why a resistance of one million ohms? - It's simple: If someone come to the witty idea, the alligator clip or banana plugs (yes, you can remove the alligator clip even and then has a banana plug) IN to plug the outlet or anzuklemmen at another voltage leading component, so retains the said resistance from one million ohms to be Run as only a minimal current flow takes place before natural selection. When static electricity, ladies and gentlemen, it is not a question a "high" current (amps) to dissipate but a high voltage (volts) and due to the low current flow can your continuity tester also not cheep, the current which is arriving just too weak to the speaker to be beeping in continuity tester.
Well ... yes but was longer than expected. I hope I could now remove all doubts and give the antistatic wrist strap full 5 stars!
