I had to replace a HP 1220C (A3) who passed away after 10 years of loyal service. This printer must be running Windows 2000 (as the 1220C) and jointly under W7. The newer machines do not offer this possibility. Although according to the doc Amazon HP 7000 was not given for W7 but for W2000, I did not despair later find the relevant driver download .. Surprise! This printer was delivered to me with a CD for W7. So it stayed in me from hunting W2000 driver. No sooner said than done except to install it, you have IE6 installed and W2000 uses IE5. So installing IE6 imperative. Impossible because Microsoft no longer provides for making W2000 day !!! So I could not use this printer with the W2000 configuration. With this printer, A3 + and you must use a minimum of 90 g paper, otherwise jam insured. I do not use A4. The black print seems to me very pale (perhaps inkjet paper Clairefontaine 90 g?) So I pushed the ink volume to maximum. The rest is OK, set Ethernet home network without problems. FC
