Dreams while looking into the fire

Fire fascinates the people since time immemorial. Even today, we would have no power, in the morning would not go to work and not to the moon in the evening, if there was no fire. Me it excited since about 45 years. Unfortunately we no longer come so now directly in contact with this medium, so now a replacement should be created.

This pseudo fireplaces for wall have never excited me, because you want to represent something they are not. Also, I constantly find myself indeed elsewhere and want to take "my fire."
The heat much described the net with the ethanol fireplaces I think is nonsense. The cons highlight the benefits and the price of fuel can be necessary well run a heater, which has a higher efficiency without consuming the oxygen in the room and create odors (which he has already done in the E-power plant!) ,
Therefore now a table fireplace!

Eigenbau came because of the sensitivity of the matter and the lack of workshop capacity out of the question (material procurement and cost ... incl. To be expected result ... would also be observed).
Hundreds of euros expenses were rejected for budgetary reasons.
Here's for about 50 euros collected everything you really need!

The thought of having to stand for about 1/2 liters of flammable liquid on a table, has me a little worried, so I have the tank filled with rock wool (waste a roof renovation). It is beyond me why this minimum effort is not already carried out at the factory with maximum effect.

Now the stone wool absorbs the fuel and etwaigem drop the table fireplace (although this is extremely stable) runs out absolutely nothing that a fire excludes de facto! Unfortunately, the rock wool block had to be quartered, as it can not take off the lid of the tank and it was different not to maneuver inside. So be it ...

Now finally to assess:
The fireplace is taller than he looks in the photos, but can still be well placed on a table without disturbing. The flame picture is very impressive. It resembles a campfire and is very soothing. The two glass panes reflect in low light the flame and multiply them visually. With about 0.4 liters Fuel capacity it burns more than two hours (20-22 clock ... Once enough ... otherwise refueled 5 minute break ... to 24 clock: D!)! The manual is not available in English only, but is not really necessary (I can speak English, they have not yet been read completely and /'m just a man - we do not need instruction manuals;)).
My first attempt was with burning methylated spirits, because I still had no "bio-ethanol" ... went as well, is priced no better, but the smell is a little stronger!
On the balcony of fireplace with no wind works beautifully to light train, with stronger winds it is not recommended.
The supplied splitter is serving. As a "fire regulators" I feel it to be inappropriate because it (assuming it's on the burner) look very nice and really is not necessary, because the flame height is optimal without any interference.

Conclusion:
A great product with an unbeatable price / performance ratio! Absolute "romance factor" in Damenbesuch, otherwise better to Into Kucken than the boob tube!

Unnecessary part (if not the TV would be):
Caution, it is when handling this part to fire and flammable liquids, so some things to consider ... as with any use of fire and flammable liquids ...

You do not smoke when refueling the vehicle, poured lighter fluid not in the burning grill, does not go with red lights ...

Klaro ... knives, forks, scissors, light, is not for small children ... and not for TV Reporter!
Anyone who handles logically and responsibly with dangerous goods, can have a lot of fun with this fire ... who can not, should not use a stove, no irons and no forks!
