For three days I have the E71 and can report initial experience with the phone. Have read a lot about the device and wondered about the sometimes conflicting reports from other owners. At Amazon, there was almost always good values, as well in some mobile phone - Magazines (Leaderboard etc.) fluctuated but the between the "very bad" and "world class". After it was bought, I therefore was unsure at once, if that was a real purchase. Answer: I! As I have previously used an iPhone and realize that some also vary between devices, I see it now just the same. But first times for E71: I use the device both privately and for business quite strong with all of its functions, so Mail for Exchange, VPN, Viedeotelefonie, SMS, MMS etc etc. I keep permanent contact to the mail server in our company. Here MfE does a great job. All data is transferred cleanly, so also duties. Here, the iPhone is known to strike. Likewise the Kalendersync works perfectly. Again, the iPhone has weaknesses: if a calendar entry of the company is entered, kan I only accept this appointment (or reject, or "might" say). I can not change it, move eg one hour or select a different day. Dates that are entered on the iPhone, but are fully editable. This must understand a time ... absolutely bad. For MfE so clear 5 Stars. However, I urge the recommendation of Nokia noted not to change between the settings! Either synchronized via Mail for Exchange or PC - Suite. Changes may cause duplicate entries and the (Outlook) - Chaos erupts. Go on: Processing: beautiful metal - housing, processed handy and clean, as creaks and wobbles nothing. The side covers for the connections I find a bit fiddly, I also feht the Docking - Station of the iPhone. 4 stars. Furnishings: goes super fast and without problems. Since you buy a cell phone ungebrandetes here, I was not sure if it works. You can calm down, the phone settings of the network operator automatically finds and after about 10 minutes you are ready to go. 5 Stars. Service: the full-size keyboard (ä ö ü etc all directly accessible) has good pressure points and is, well, passable illuminated. Right into the corners, the illumination is not true and you should consider if you write in the dark interminable mails or not ... The keys might be a bit bigger, but that would go well at the expense of size (also the Diyplays). Selbt with my sausage fingers already gaht typing quite good, but still have to practice. Nice that T9 is available, which also helps. 4 stars. Display: good resolution, ordinary topics, good menu, individual key settings, everything super. I wish even the slightly larger representation of SMS or emails. Unfortunately, the eyes are not what they used to. Therefore, "only" 4 Taler ... The touchscreen - solution of the iPhone I really miss not. The screen was smeared eh permanently and the written text nor legible. Battery: Here it comes: I really want to know what Apple offers since. I had after an almost unused iPhone - Day never sufficient power more. Rest = less than 20%, and, I repeat, if a lot is been around, I might have phoned in 8 hours 20 minutes. Towards the end it got worse, I had the part in the morning fully charged and it was about 11 clock out already. Of course I have all references to the Apple - noted Page. I believe the phone holding by one day, if you do not use. That the battery can not so easily change, the next is Hammer.Dann I watch on American videos, as with any Plstik - is rumgebaut tools since. Have Fun ... Now the E71: the Rating: 5+ stars !!! Children, that is battery - duration! After the first battery charge made following (within 12 hours, I have even listed: 2.2 hours phone calls, 12 SMS, a video - conference, surfed the Internet, Bluetooth - held permanent connection to the PC, wireless - Search enabled, files moved by infrared undundund). Result, no joke: 1 bar lost! After that I have the phone fully charged again and now does nothing (two days ago). And, clearly, if I do not have time the charger while (do not know where it is :-)), one takes the (additionally acquired) Battery and rest. Kudos to Nokia, the phone suggests almost the 6310i, which concerns the term. Everything else is always on board: Contact cards sent (does not work with the iPhone), MMS, Internet - telephony, infrared, video rotate (all negative on the iPhone), camera, incidentally, ok, but I willl make calls and not take pictures, so important for me. The battery was also the main reason for the change to E71 and for me is the KO - Criterion for the iPhone. Since I also use the really super - connection to iTunes or not the applications that you can buy. The mobile phone is always empty anyway to try it all. Conclusion: I could write for hours about the pros and cons, but slowly also needs to be worked again. The E71 is something for everyone, which deal with a smartphone and are looking for a good maturity. The other features (radio, bar code scanner, Maps, etc.) I do not need and are therefore not described in detail here. Full point victory for the E71 and a strong buy recommendation!
