I already have my fifth pair Giesswein Dannheim Slippers, earlier I was always very happy with it. Some time ago, but the material and the coating of the sole has been changed: In the meantime, the shoes have some sort of profile of rubber and are otherwise only gummed thin. The "profile" consists of rubber threads, which dissolve with me for at least half a year and then spread everywhere on the floor. The rest of the sole is then passes through very quickly since it is no longer coated as thick as before. This was my second and last pair Giesswein with the new sole, for me a classic example of planned obsolescence.
