I bought them to replace a kit Devolo That was losing sync to often. Installing the kit is very easy and you do not need to the software did Comes With the device to have it work. Despite some random loss of sync (that you can fix it by Either wait a couple of minutes or unplug the kit) i am so far happy with this item
