But I have installed the iPod replacement battery for about two weeks and can only report positive.
The original battery for iPod Video 30GB offers a capacity of 450 mAh. After more than two years of use and a regular charge the iPod I had arrived at 4 hours of battery life, so what in the worst case meant a daily charge.
The replacement battery purchased here offers me contrary to the product description is not 550 mAh, but 650 mAh capacity.

The installation was easy. The accompanying description with respect to the handling of the two enclosed tools quite concise and also difficult to see.

The first full charge then took me about 4 hours, because I thought there was something wrong with the battery. But all fears towards making the replacement battery excellent job. Meanwhile, I can listen to music almost 15 hours straight! That's more than the original battery ever there was - I'm thrilled!

As I have informed me in advance how the installation works, I can cope with the scarce instructions very well.
