It was delivered quickly (thanks Amazon). The original packaging of the equipment is well designed and the parts all well protected with foil. After unpacking has attached to his feet, only the Hub. The base is weighted nicely so it will not tip over easily. After the power supply is connected and the Hub has been connected to the PC, it is recognized immediately in Windows 7.
Then the following devices is connected:
- IPad (for charging)
- Two SS USB 3.0 2.5 "Hard Drives
- Two USB 2.0 DVD drives
- USB 3.0 Blu-Ray drive (with its own power supply)
- USB 3.0 32GB Memory Stick
All units have been immediately recognized correctly and the iPad loads without error. As far as the voltage for all devices is sufficient.
To test the voltage under load copying was started simultaneously on all devices, as follows:
- With all 3 optical drives, a DVD was ripped
- Copy between the two 2.5 "hard drives
- Copy from PC to USB Stick
- And the iPad invites further to himself
To test the data transfer is done the following:
- Between two 2.5 "hard drives: (off Cahce) throughout ~ 90 MB / s
- Both 2.5 "HDD to PC (simultaneously): through 46 MB / s and 60 MB / s for total of 106 MB / s transfer.
For what I have connected the Port EasyAcc brought at USB 3.0 performance to be expected. So, it seems as if the power supply is well dimensioned and the controller can be used without problem both data between connected devices and the PC transfer speed with USB 3.0.
From me, a top recommendation.
