With a consumption of 6 watts, these bulbs provide light equivalent to a 40 watt halogen spotlight, a consumption divided by 7!
No more expensive than conventional spots, these bulbs are given for a lifetime of 50,000 hours, entirely credible for LED: it means that in normal use they will last over 20 years! (At 4 hours per day)
The build quality is good, the base is a GU10 all there is more standard.
Beware though, these spots are slightly higher than their halogen equivalents: + 8 mm.
The emitted light is whiter than that of a halogen, but remains in a range "warm", though with a color temperature close to 3,000 K, some may find it a bit cold.
Finally, the ecological argument is irrefutable: not only are these bulbs last over 20 years, which significantly reduces waste, but in addition they do not contain toxic substances, unlike compact fluorescent bulbs say.
