Please note that the footnote concerns in any case the music, which I find pretty good (it's not my favorite genre, but I like). What I notice here is the quality of the CD. I'm not one to complain recent remasters, even if sometimes the Loudness War ("war on big sound," for non-English) is quite ridiculous proportions, but this record is so bad that I had to comment . Indeed, as long as you're used to hearing School's Out on the radio, the sound mediocrity this record jump immediately to the ears. First, it is strong, too strong, to make you eardrums bleed. Result, large distortions and sound garish. The second thing, and this is the biggest problem, album, and in particular its title track, is covered with a filthy reverb effect that recalls the raw editions ZZTop CD Warner (incidentally, when Speak of the devil). As much as I was not familiar with the other securities that it catches my ears immediately, both on School's Out, I could not hear over a minute so it was shocking. To compare, I get a copy of the edition Audio Fidelity (I would not pay 30 euros but not sure). Not only the volume is lowered, but in addition, the reverb effect is nonexistent (as in radio). The sound is incisive, powerful, dry, short like Alice Cooper, but the ears do not suffer, even when you turn up the sound (assuming that the Hi-Fi follow, but in my case, so ... ). I do not think this is one of those cases where, after several listenings you get used to and forget. Buy this CD is to be sure to never listen. Avoid it, you will not regret it.
