I installed this on a Macbook 13 (core 2 duo) Unibody replace the existing hard drive of 160 GB, have contented myself cloned via: Carbon Copy Cloner to install and Trim Enabler (to check the gap between disk performance Tea and SSD). The result is clear the first restart was long, very long view (2min) the second fastest (1min30), the third time (probably once Spotlight finished indexing) the machine starts in about 38s (awesome).
I have not done speed test itself but I did track currently very little difference between my 840 Pro and Transend 256GB disk. My Macbook Pro and my MacBook 15 13 starts with the same speed (2s for the Samsung), in daily use the Fujitsu 160GB is put into oblivion.
Discounted to 99 as currently this SSD offers a capacity report / outstanding price, it allows a small budget of soffrir an SSD to a pretty tight with prices at capacity, reinvigorate a stalled machine'm pleasantly brief surprised and overwhelmed by this product and the gain provided in terms of speed.
To: the price, the screw kit adapter / 3.5 ", performance, storage.
Cons: the price (discounted) nothing
Conclusion: If you have the opportunity to buy this discounted or reduced, it will make you the service you expect is given for these performances: 520Mo in reading and 290 in writing, compatible with SATA 6 Gb / s, weighing of 51g. In everyday use the performance gain is so important compared to a flatbed model you can pass the step and to 99 256GB way I do it only benefits.
