Moves to the max a Nexus 5: 1.5 A. Half Price LG charger 1.8A. The cable would be good (gauge wire OK but a bit rigid) if the micro USB socket was better quality. On mine it moves in the phone to the point where the load is interrupted at the slightest movement.
