No joke is the heat output at the Ultra Sports gloves. The batteries are first charged with the included power adapter until the LED on the battery charger jumps to green. After about 1.5 hours, it was time for me. Both batteries can incidentally be "refueled" in the supplied AC adapter at the same time.
Is it so far both batteries in the glove may be connected and placed in accordance with the zipper. If you hold the big switch that was incorporated per glove, so can be fed at temperature over 3 levels (green, yellow, red) 37, 45 and 56 degrees (C). The gloves are not all equally warm, but the finger and thumb areas the temperature development after about 1 minute is palpable! From the "yellow stage" is in current +7 degree night temperature a good and at the "red stage" determine a very significant heat generation. The fingers are well heated. Of course, the test is in April not fully representative, but such a significant heat generation, I had not yet met.

Of course a few peculiarities. The battery and the small soldered jacks make only times a slightly unstable impression. The quite rigid, large battery is inserted at the underhand top glove and squeezed me a little by the arm. Falls on this area, I do not want to provoke. Possibly you can still nachpolstern something. Of course, it also plays a role with the relevant anatomy.
Conclusion .: These gloves are not just for snowboarding, but also more generally for very cold environments (-25 C) to good use as a protection against the cold. From level "yellow" there are significant heat output from the battery, which should then stop about 4-5 hours. As specified stage red delivers even 53 degrees (C) for a period of 2.5 hours. Great thing for me, a glove with actual good heat output, now I just need a few more equivalent socks ...
