I have now something to write ATI 9800 SE!
I still have here one that was there with my Fujitsu Siemens PC.
However, mine has the memory interface and 128-bit ... so 96-bit interface, which in this GraKa is a real bottleneck! Games run, OK, but not at the speed that one would expect from the 9800! Unfortunately, I've got the purchase not the SE respected behind, which is under the normal 9800! I think it's SE> Without> XL!
The 256 MB Ram teach a bottleneck not really what you do with it other than just graphics or Office ... because it is good and doing your service!
My 9800 SE had in some games already times Grafikfehler, although not really come from the GraKa, but rather by the driver!
Did they then exchanged for a GF 5900 XT with 128 MB and that was a then, in those days, giant leap, because the GF was really faster than the ATI!
Meanwhile, I've got a MSI 7600 GT with 512MB Passive installed and it will be the last GraKa, I'll buy this system because AGP is not so developed. But even with a 7600 GT running many games yet, though not with 50 FPS, but they run!
