I drive my life without a helmet and have now my wife to love decided on your next holiday to wear a helmet. Many helmets I've tried to have some wear after only half an hour (in the store) annoyed, others sometimes lasted 1-2 hours. I have therefore hard to find a more elongated head and a matching helmet. This left the UVEX Ski helmet P1US and the ALPINA Jump JV VarioFlex ski helmet. As soon as you put the UVEX one noticed that it is not so optimal is fitting, because he was not optimal sitting on the ears. Otherwise, he got stuck and he brought it to 2 hours. However, after 2 hours, the tops of the ears were hurting a lot and the front was strongly blushes by the slight notice of the helmet because the pressure point on this helmet is in front at the end. The helmet in a size larger was too large. This helmet was then returned and I promised my wife only to test a single helmet :-) I ordered as the ALPINA Jump JV VarioFlex ski helmet. The price difference could be seen already on the processing and materials. I sat on him and was thrilled. The pressure point of the helmet evenly distributed around the back of the head and the ears were perfect in the posters. Wear self after 3 hours everything was still ok. I was sweating even as with the UVEX helmet, because this helmet is equipped with Climacool. Then I waited for the sun to the Varioflex glasses to tested. This should drown automatically optimally depending on the light. The visor is also completely removable. If the visor is down, I had the feeling that these glasses robbed me a lot of my field of vision. But then came the ko of the helmet. Something bothered me the see through the visor. Depending on the light was reflected in the lower part of my face visor to another I discovered three fingerprints and a partial imprint of a palm rejection. I cleaned the visor from both sides, but to no avail! In the inside of the visor is an additional disc glued (probably the Varioflex). Between these two discs, the fingerprints are included and not removable. When wearing this looks like a dirty glasses. Conclusion: The helmet itself is a perfect fit for me and it is even after several hours of wearing more comfortable. The visor is removable which is also a plus for me. The limited field of vision is more than a normal ski goggles and so a small minus. Quality assurance has probably slept and has thus overlooked the fingerprints. If you can not incorporate this into the assessment with, still the price of about 200 euro is in the room. Since I already had a lot of helmets on, I would have paid the price. Compromising the field of vision and the reflection I would have accepted. Through the dirty visor of helmet was but back! For a price around 150-180 euros, it is certainly a worth buying.
