1) Very successful packaging. The included storage box makes a good impression.
2.) Both the controller itself as well the included USB cable are high quality.
3.) The controller is great in the hand.
4.) On the PC, the controller is detected immediately.
5.) For the two sticks, there is the possibility of the sensitivity of the controller itself set.
6) Good support from Razer.
My negative findings:
1.) The controller has some extra buttons, but these are not configurable. You can assign existing keys of the controller to the additional keys only already. Even third-party programs do not allow to prove the additional keys freely. The advertised "Six additional full-programmable keys" are to be considered in my opinion, rather than misleading.
2.) After some games I do then noticed that there seem to be a problem with the trigger buttons (LT and RT). For a car racing game, I had to give the RT button to gas. When fully by pressing the RT button should therefore be continuously driven at full throttle, but I realized eventually determined that the RT button sporadically not respond. So instead of giving gas, the car is executed rolled in front of him and then spontaneously to give the gas again. I could reproduce the phenomenon with the Windows own tool for calibrating controllers and had then written to the Razer Support. About warranty I have returned to the controller and let me pay back the money, because I have read some Bereichte about this problem in the context of Razer controllers.
Conclusion:
Razer controller make a good first impression. As for the durability of the controller I can not say if I am an individual case, or if there really is a problem with the internal construction of the controller. But for 70-80 I expect a device which works reliably and on which I can rely. That's why I decided not to keep micht the Sabertooth controller.
