Frankly, the silicone protection is essential for "all terrain" ... Otherwise your pretty quickly Sphero look like a wrinkled old ball and scratched. But almost 30 euros after silicone ...! As much as I am willing to put a high price for an innovative product and high tech such as sphero, as I find ridiculous scam skin silicone. I canceled my purchase. Enough is enough.
