Although it is not completely waterproof, it is ITX4 category (protected against water sprayed from all directions), which is more than enough to be handy when you're in the shower. Rest assured there is totally energy self-sufficient thanks to its lithium polymer battery of 500mAh which allows it to operate for 5 hours and ensures a total galvanic isolation, so no risk of electrocution.
Its primary function is to ensure the relay of the audio reproduction via radio waves (Bluetooth 3.0). You can leave your smartphone within 10 m and connect to TT-SK03 placed in the hand shower. 5 function buttons let you adjust the volume, skip to the next or previous audio or pause track.
Obviously in such a small volume (8.5 cm diameter and 6 cm depth), the sound quality is not high fidelity, but it is really up.
Its weight is only 110g, largely due to the use of a lithium polymer battery. A suction cup 8.5cm keeps perfectly in place on a tile in your shower wall (must support either but smooth); a small tab on the suction cup allows easy removal.
The battery charging is done through the USB using a special cable that must not be lost. This is justified by the fact that a simple silicone cap allows sealing the power connector.
The Bluetooth pairing with your smartphone is simple and it is guided by light signals (red and blue LED) and audible. Once completed, the pairing will be done automatically to the next power.
Bluetooth technology HFP (handsfree) and the presence of a small micro therefore allow you to make calls without leaving the shower (it will still stop the water jet so that your correspondent can hear you correctly ).
Again TaoTronics used existing technologies in innovative ways.
