pleasantly grippy material. Good price / performance ratio. However, I have not bought the Ebook Case for the Kindle, but for the Kobo Touch. The original cover with light was too expensive. So I had the upper right corner where you turns the Kobo, cut a small piece of material. Worked just fine ;-) and now everything is the way I need it. Do not regret the purchase.
