Commissioning after guidance was really easy (without WPS).
Now I use the part of my Android phone with "BubbleUpnp" app.
Sound is ok, unobtrusive (I can not judge better in the scenario).
Partial but sometimes the pause between songs but longer than usual (max. 5 sec.), Have so far only read that MP3 server and client a "gapless" option must have that I have not been further examined.
Current consumption lt. Data should be approximately 6 W (ie 10 euros per year if you never pulls out)
I do not therefore really incomprehensible why the device that probably came last year on the market, was a flop; I think it's more than worth the money.
Offtopic:
Actually, would something like yes (for about 20 euros) with a small TP-Link router (WR703N) and a matching OpenWrt installation plan, but unfortunately this is very fiddly and is indeed offered anywhere preconfigured.
I have already tried, but if you then bad luck (eg with the hardware version of the router), the Frickel-effort increases (at least for me) überproportinal ...
FYI: I also own a WD Live VL, and had already streaming clients from Zyxel, NOXON and other devices; but just as a device (which I do not have to on and off and can) was missing.
