This unit is just right for people who just want a screen and just not smart TV, which is a computer and actually a constantly annoying with Facebook and Youtube links.
Honestly, I've looked at equipment in the large electronics markets and owned no TV more than a year, because I have no interest in these overloaded equipment with Facebook, 3D, underbody lighting, mirrored pseudo-piano finish and smart something. I was about to buy a professional display industry, these costs however from 1500 EUR.
While Toshiba has a great price, but this does not negatively affect the core function, namely the picture quality. In order to get a perfect, pixel-accurate image, configure the following settings:

3D Color Management: From
DNR: Off
MPEG NR: Off

Picture Mode: Users
Active Backlight Control: Off
Auto Brightness Sensor: Off
Backlight: 75
Contrast: 50
Brightness: 50 (at 55 are better to distinguish the blacks, but the graying of the pixel is too high for my taste)
Color: 55
Hue: 0
Sharpness: 0 (important!)
Black / White Level: Off
Cinema Mode: A
Color temperature: Cold
Static Gamma: +3

ask about the Quick button the image size to "Unchanged".

The settings refer to the HDMI input and the 39 "model. With these settings the Toshiba beats most high-priced TVs. It is truly a pleasure how little the Toshiba can. Criticism is possibly the speakers, but of me from Toshiba could possess garkeinen Speaker, as I have anyway connected two small stereo speakers and that in turn suggests any high-end TV with an integrated super-duper-ultra-mega 3D sound.

For that there is a very strong buy recommendation from me. I for one am going to use this unit for a long time while it already is no more software update for all smart devices.
