In terms of typing, the keyboard is simply the best keyboard I've tried. The keys are both slight and nervous, I had never had such a comfortable typing on a keyboard before. The lightness of the striking fact that one feels really comfortable and almost invited to use his finger to strike even the usually heavy keys as the enter key. Moreover, the keyboard is very silent, much more than a Logitech Illuminated eg making it, I believe, the only ergonomic keyboard can be used in an office populated by people sensitive to noise. Microsoft had the bright idea to cut in half the space bar, which solves the main problem of their previous ergonomic keyboard (the 4000).
Unlike some other reviews, I was not bothered by the arrangement of "normal" keys on the keyboard. The provision of normal keys is in fact identical to that of a conventional keyboard, and switch from one to another (the home office) will have any problem. For special keys (cursor up / down, end, etc.), it is true that I still marks a time to find the key, because it is not the usual place. I think the main fault is to have put the key insert '(which serves no purpose except to make mistakes) right next to the button' up 'the cursor. It happens from time to time to operate it by mistake.
At lergonomie, the keyboard provides different keyboard tilt options, but it is clear when the keyboard is lifted from behind ergonomics is best. The hands then dip slightly forward, in the extension of the forearm without any break. It is extremely enjoyable. BUT, this requires an upheaval in customs, if like me we used to rest his forearms on the table. Indeed, with the keyboard raised to about 4 cm on the side of the space bar, it is impossible to rest his forearms on the table without completely breaking his wrist. To use the keyboard properly in this position, it is mandatory to have a chair with height adjustable armrests in order to make rest his forearm. For my part, do so was a revolution because it changed my posture in the office: the obligation to put his elbows on the armrests makes me push my chair and therefore to stand up straight. In short, the ergonomic keyboard use for me was not limited to the position of the hands. If one has no armrest, it is possible to use the keyboard flat, but I have not tested this configuration.
Having the keyboard into two separate, which helps greatly to ergonomics by allowing the hands to move away a little, sometimes a little disturbing. This is especially true for keys that are usually "in the middle", and that we are used to type with one hand or the other depending on the words. For example, pressing 'B' on the left. I actually hit this button on the left hand normally, except for some words like "baby" or I used to hit the 'é' left hand and suddenly come hit the 'b' with the right hand. With the separation of the keyboard in two, this kind of gymnastics is no longer possible, or at least much less pleasant.
The mouse is another pleasant surprise of this pack. I bought it mainly for the keyboard, but I must admit that the design of this mouse makes a difference. Asking his hand on the edge is actually very relaxing. Like the keyboard, I do not find this disturbing geometry and I go from a normal mouse to it without worry.
I find that having the separate numeric keypad is a great thing, because personally I do not use the numeric keypad. So I use the keyboard with fashion 'TKL' which allows me to have the handy mouse without having to fly over the keypad to gain access.
The side of misfires, which together cost him a star out of five:
- I do not understand why Microsoft saw fit to replace the "function" by a switch. So, I almost am using more media keys, activate the switch requires too much effort alongside other ultra-light touches.
- Special keys of the top row (Esc, F1-F12, etc.) differ from the other buttons smaller and harder. I see no reason for that, it's just confusing.
- There is no indicator lights to indicate the activation of certain keys as CAPS LOCK example. The keyboard is not backlit, which may miss some (I do not find that necessary, but it's true that it's nice)
- Finally, the mouse is glossy plastic, which keeps all the fingerprints from the first use.

Update after two short months of use:
I return to what I said earlier on the joint use this keyboard with another keyboard. Once we got used to typing on this keyboard, it is true that the strike on other keyboards becomes less fluid. I think it's quite similar to what one feels when esst used to a desktop keyboard and that we must tap on a smaller laptop keyboard. Personally, the only other keyboard I use is at home, and little intensively, so it did not pose a problem. However, this can actually be problematic for those who intensively use another keyboard.
So far, the batteries still show no sign of weakness, contrary to what I have seen in other reviews.
Following mishandling, I fell keyboard office floor (carpet), apparently without consequence. The keyboard is not too fragile despite its thinness.

Updated after 6 months of use:
Petit probably common default to all wireless keyboards, but annoying if you are careless and that was inadvertently left something (paper, books ...) on the keyboard during the night, the keyboard will stupidly send signals until the battery is drained. And there must redeem batteries.
I guess it would not be difficult to detect this kind of situation to preserve some battery, but obviously this is not done here.
