Since I bought it I was struggling to it: the Franco-British story told by an English, a true reading pleasure. We see that extensive research has been done, and we realize how what we are taught as "history" is quite far from the truth (I also recommend the book "our ancètes, Gallic and other fardaises "which is in the same style but obviously satirical least from a cultural point of view as written by a French). British humor has to please you by cons, otherwise you risk if you're French, to be a little "dive". Happy reading - and a big BRAVO to Stephen Clarke.
