The story is very original and the new parallel between past and present is exciting. We find also the recurring characters that are seen always evolve with much interest! For those who have read other novels, it's a treat to be "part" of this new small still complex and terribly human community. For those going to discover it, I can only advise them to eat as the other books beginning with The Ice Princess, first novel in the "series". These rich stories, powerful, still independent of each other, not only allow us to follow complex investigations, human and exciting but also to attach ourselves to the investigators and their families. Provided that the author writes again and again !!!
