Level quality, the material is of excellent craftsmanship, similar to that found on the backpack incase computer. Although it is not certified waterproof (the bag is not "all weather"), I left the bag under the spray of the shower at full power during 1min30 and he did not miss the slightest trace humidity. We can assume that it will support a good rain without flinching, obviously if you plan to walk in the rain for hours / days he may show its limits anyway.
The bag comes with 2 long and 3 short dividers with all 5 of scratch adhering to the front and rear sides and the bottom of the bag and the large flaps.
Side pockets were:
- A pocket at the back which is not protected by the flap and is probably intended to drag the cards (it has no closing system and covers the entire back surface of the bag but not very wide).
- 2 side pockets (also not protected) to drag small objects or a bottle / flask 50cl that fold automatically (elastic).
- A large central compartment for photo equipment
- Pocket for a tablet (but no effort was made on the material, no risk for metal surfaces but I would protect the screen)
- A front pocket closed with a zipper and with 2 small pockets and a slot for SD card (not very practical but closing with a scratch).
The inside pockets are covered with a flap that closes either scratch (which can be neutralized by withdrawing into themselves for places where one wishes to avoid noise) or a plastic loop.
It has a handle (practice to ballast a tripod) and a strap on shoulder. We regret the fact that the strap is not removable, the material of the "pad" non-slip shoulder is and therefore allows the bag not to slip if door "right" on one shoulder. The assembly is rigid and does not allow to be easily compressed, the fault protections but is already very compact in itself.
The discrete color does not attract attention, it helps to take a lot of equipment without being bulky.
I have attached pictures.
FYI, the bag contains a 50cl bottle of water, a reading light with Kindle Paperwhite holster, Galaxy Camera in his belt holster, a canon 700D with a Tamron 18-270 VC PZD mounted (visor upside) 50mm f1.8 II cannon, a cannon 18-55 IS STM (not visible, under 50mm), the charger with a battery inside, additional flap, step up rings, 3 SD card into the slot ( possible maximum if left in the transparent plastic case) and I add a set of 4 filters before any (not present in the photo).
As you can see, there is still room for a small goal (left) and a small flash on the bottom. An outer bottle pocket remaining unused, as well as the back pocket that would swiping a card for example. Finally there is a little place near my reading light. No problem to close everything.
The whole is rather solid and well thought out. The bag would have 5 stars with a better system for SD cards, front pockets one more hair (my charger is tight, more and 3-4mm thickness would have been welcome), a detachable strap and maybe a small pocket with a zipper on the flap to put keys, coins or metro tickets.
