I had 3 units Netgear Powerline 200Mbits (1 connected to my internet box and the other 2 computers located in each in different rooms). Being entirely satisfied with them, I ordered additional 2 500mbits release: the first connected to a satellite receiver (allowing me to enjoy and video on demand via ADSL), the second connected to an ADSL TV decoder (allowing me to have the decoder in a different room from the one where lies my box). The power outlet socket integrated in housing does not condemn the wall outlet, the video streams are excellent, whether to watch TV via ADSL TV decoder for download programs on demand via the satellite decoder. The installation of the various boxes is very simple and they are completely compatible with each other (the site of Netgear mentions compatibility between boxes). I suggest installing the software "NETGEAR Powerline Utility" (downloadable from the website Netgear) to manage the PLC network: it allows you to rename each case depending on where it is located (example: CPL-Lounge, CPL bedroom, etc ...), to view the various boxes with their rates and especially secure its network by replacing the default password (common to all Netgear boxes) with a custom password (useful when lies in a building, because it can happen that a neighbor uses CPL boxes of the same brand and thus can connect to your network even if it is not intentional on his part). In summary: I am totally satisfied with this product and the services provided by Amazon.
