It's been almost ten years since I had not installed linux on a physical machine and not on a VM.
A little difficult to install archlinux set by going into the BIOS to disable the UEFI mode that is absolutely necessary
for more than 2 TB drives.
Reading the docs in English would have saved me fumbling archlinux because the doc did not mention the difficulty.
I probably would do an install with UEFI to get familiar with the system. The suitable docs:

Result: I have a portable box, 50% faster than my macbook as 2012 with an SSD.
It's been a good file server and a way to test software on multiple VMs. And a platform to learn new
administration tools and performance analysis.
