The controls are simple enough for those who know the Ace Combat and HAWX series for consoles, they are essentially the same, so no scenery at this level with the joystick. For new, there is also a progressive learning mode that does not deter you, I think.
The principle is the same as Ace Combat for navigation and flight maneuvers and the difference lies in the types of aircraft and weapons, of course, and sets the ground level that are really well done. The fine detail of the decor of the ground are not inconsequential for an aerial view of the Europe of 40 years (which is not much different from the current Europe).
The driver aids that appear on the screen, especially about your speed to avoid the crash, when you are not specific in your tactics, you are also a great help. All the aircraft pilot with the analog sticks L (direction) and R (speed) of the joystick. The buttons, they are used to shoot and switch views. The grip is consistent and presqu'intuitive. It'll just chase your enemies without too much trouble with the default configuration. So I do not see much use special controllers designed for flight simulators. But it is a matter of taste and feeling.
This game is so good it is always out of stock, I waited for months before it sent to me. Do not hesitate to put it in your cart in the meantime. You will have a nice surprise when you receive it.
