Now that I had the headset for 5 months in use, it was the day before yesterday replaced. (-2 Star, 1 star deduction wg. Basic, 1 star deduction for the meantime but annoying become Imbalanz)
The Reason:
Unfortunately, I realized that the headset probably not suitable for my head (Hab probably comical ears: P). No seriously, the headset does not press ansich though, but you have scabbing on the ears then not be. The reason for this is probably the little (only thin fabric layer on the plastic in the interior) padded Innenbreich where ears touchdown. Although I have held ears, they are just not completely flat.
For shorter sessions (
My choice was the "new" Plantronics RIG, back to the roots, am thrilled.

Since my old Sennheiser (Sennheiser PC 166 USB) after 3 years has left the service (Mirkofon by another for the moment given up the ghost) had to get a new one. Since Plantronics produces no ordinary headset more (held 7 and 4 years old) and I have been at the time recommended by a buddy Sennheiser, it should this time again a Sennheiser be.
In a nutshell, the pros / cons summarized:
Pro:
- High-quality processed
- Excellent sound for this price range (if you want something better, then you should look at 200+)
(+ Hear the right music that is not artificially boosted in volume and thus abnormally distorted because the headset can not make up)
- Extremely light (also long sessions no problem)
- No pressures on the ears (What did you all for heads / ears?)
- Surround sound very pleasant, although getting used to
- Mirko very good, clear language
Contraindications:
- Unfortunately, some reviewers with the "Imbalanz" right: If you adjust the volume, then created an imbalance that but I could put only on the penultimate highest volume setting fixed, so that now runs on maximum and will be adjusted by the system volume if necessary , Not pretty, but hey now I could tell after 3 months, you could mechanically change in volume at each headset.
All in all, I would, if you can live with the little shortcoming recommend the product.
