With headphones 'headset' Sennheiser game input for two years, for me for all my media (movies, music, skype, games), I decided to acquire a real headphones. My choice fell on the Sennheiser HD 380 Pro for several reasons: 1 / The Sennheiser brand: I preferred to keep the same brand, it has always given me satisfaction. The sound is very good (although I'm not an audiophile); 2 / A closed headphones: essential for the use I make of (be it in public transport or in the library, it is essential for me to be isolated from my environment); 3 / A circum-aural headphones (around the ears) for comfort; 4 / A sober appearance; 5 / A relatively short wire: here the "twisted" cord can greatly reduce the size. He does not get caught in the wheels of a desk chair (which was the case with my old Sennheiser, the cord measured 3 meters). In addition, it is detachable and replaceable. All these criteria are met. Another plus is the rigid box to easily transport its helmet.
Overall I recommend it 100%!
PS: I recommend buying this product on Amazon.de (Germany). It only cost me 123 (130 now: the price rose, but remains less than 15 on Amazon.com), free shipping to Belgium. Once sent, I also received in one day, so no difference from Amazon.com, if not I saved 22. In general, the electronics are much cheaper on Amazon. of, do not hesitate to compare.
