Ordered Pro II Slim Digital UV MC Filter with lens cap for my Fuji X10 on Amazon this Haida. The filter is very high quality and a perfect fit. I would recommend this product so only empfehlen.Die image results are excellent.
I have also been the original Fujifilm sun visor, in the similar a 52mm filter or a polarizer can be screwed. This one is therefore quite flexible. The me with the sun visor and a screwed-filter (which then is slightly before the actual lens ..) be incurred disadvantage: When shooting with flash is reflected light of the flash effects showed on the recordings. Some shots are so useless. In addition, the front lens glass is then itself not protected.
Therefore, this described here Haida filter for my concerns is the better choice because it is so placed directly in 40mm thread of the camera lens. The sunshade with front 52mm filter thread is then screwed if necessary ...
For some reason Amazon had no lens cap attached (although it says on the package of the filter ...). After diesbezüglichem very pleasant contact with the company Time Trends, which provides the lens-cap combo on Amazon, their excellent and dedicated customer service !! showed. The lens cap together with a suitable attachment cord was within 2 days in my mailbox.
