javais protection besdata before and one corner broke after 2months leaving my vulnerable iPad. I opted for this protection that meets my needs. The plastic flap did a little "cheap" but the magnet is very effective. Furthermore the volume buttons and standby are protected as integrated into the shell and appear in relief making them easily accessible.
I have not tested the official cover and I could not compare, however I much prefer it to that of the besdata, provided that the shell takes over 2 months. (But my plastic the strongest air, I'm not very worried ...)
