I just tested this tripod that day (I own the past week) is excellent! Very stable (I have a pro DSLR with a TV pro 70-200). Much better than the SLR-ZOOM I owned too. This tripod is of much higher quality in manufacturing SLR zoom is slightly larger. It takes up little space in a bag. The price difference between these two models is fully justified. I recommend the bh2-01 ball that will make you a perfect set when you can not or do not want to take normal tripod. It never leaves my wallet. He is amazing! Do not hesitate!
