Positives:
- Screen 4.5 '' 720x1280 good quality and big enough to ongoing operations.
- Dimensions of the smartphone reasonable, for comfortable use with one hand and / or transportation in a pants pocket
- Powerful and fast: the raw power of quad-core processor and 1GB of memory are limited, but the optimization of Android and the fact of not having overlay manufacturer make this smartphone is very fluid. The transition to the latest version of Android (4.4.4) in July 2014 has further improved fluidity.
- Upgrades to rapid regular days of Android by Motorola.
- The storage ample 16GB for a reasonable use (many apps installed, storage music and videos etc). By comparison, many input end smartphones at the same price, are limited to 4GB, not recommended!
- Solid construction (no crackling etc.)
- The possibilities for customization with shells and flip covers good (at least those of the manufacturer)
Negatives or limits to consider:
- Limited power for some games: fans of power-intensive games could have interest to turn to a more powerful smartphone.
- Correct battery but no more (though I easily hold a day unlike many other smartphones).
- Average quality pictures. It's not so much the number of pixels limited to 5 Mpix problematic that the quality of shots that sometimes appear a little vague and a bit dark. But I am only very few photos (I have a camera dedicated for it with optical zoom etc.).
- No storage expansion via micro-sd and no 4G. NB: 4G version of this smartphone, released in July 2014 addressed these two drawbacks.
Why pay two or three times more for less overall satisfactory smartphones (such as Samsung, HTC, Sony, LG, Acer) and which generally suffer a heavy overlay manufacturer, limited autonomy, of a power but a higher gross felt less satisfactory use, too large screens, made late and unsatisfactory day etc.
