At its very reasonable price provides the S370 a great value. In particular, the image quality, the almost non-existent noise, fast and very fault-tolerant drive, and the many supported video formats are real highlights. (A Sony player, the WMV9, DivX HD and MKV is happening? Hard to believe.) Its big brother, so the S470 also offers support for 3D material.
From the recently tried out by me "Bluetech bru-hdm50" NoName Player to Sony are worlds apart in a positive way. The additional cost is more than justified. Owners of Sony TVs that support Bravia Sync, also benefiting from some nice additional features. So you can let go down the player, for example by turning off the TV at the same time.
A test of the S370 with detailed measurement results can be found in the audiovisual 04/10.
