I discovered Max Gallo recently. I bought "French Revolution" by chance, just on the basis of favorable comments. I tried to complete my knowledge about this period that has been treated numerous times, both by serious scholars, historians, storytellers, political as wacky. . I find his outstanding work, very thorough, worthy of the professor of history and of man thinking he is. Anyway here I am addicted to Max Gallo and threw myself following in "the soul of France," just as exciting. And then in paperback, pocket, I'm not ruined me.
