Ever since SpongeBOZZ 'qualification in JBB surfaced, I have been following his "career." He has carved out by two Battles and, in my opinion, this also gained cope. And now came the box, which I was very happy. However, my expectations were, in spite of the horrendous price, obviously been overestimated what I was able to discover sobering after receiving the box. Where the sponge has the big drum diligently, via Facebook, stirred, was what I received today, was not even half the effort, which the sponge has fabricated to advertising.
Please do not misunderstand, the songs are top - up at JFK. But the box itself looks as if it had been then clapped unloving - the main thing to get ready quickly and coal, so it is unfortunately over for me, even though the release was postponed, and we certainly had plenty of time to try something more. However, this is not the case here.
- The box is made of cardboard, you could have done better, but also worse (!).
- Rust The lighter and, I thought, it does not work and yes, I was pretty angry, until I came out with the idea reinzufüllen gasoline and voila, lo and behold, it works. Another shortcoming is that the lighter is sharp and the label was slapped on it. The reality shows that the green sticker is much brighter than in the pictures. Locker two shades lighter.
- The T-shirt is fine: D The motive, yes ... you can argue about it, friends. I found it when the subject was published, not great, but it's not bad either. Whether you can wear the shirt in public, every self's left. The print is perfectly fine and it is not a "Fruit of the Loom", as the sponge has promised;) (probably the only "special gift", which I'm not so disappointed by)
- The poster is folded ... Although it is quite large, which I was surprised, but it is folded ... (Yes, you can not make me right: D) Even the poster is printed on both sides, and only thanks to the size, I'll ignore the wrinkles ...
- Filter Papers and I can not judge because I do not smoke (and I was doing in the first place to the songs and the autograph)
- And that's my biggest problem (I see also the moment about the rust on lighter still away), the autograph card. It is, as I had to find enervating, not (!!) signed, but simply printed what I very, very bad find.
The songs: Who knows and celebrates SpongeBOZZ knows that shoot the songs - to moderate gangster put it correctly;) They are produced properly. Some would say: If you know a song, you know them all. I see it but not so and think it should come to another album that the sponge will evolve. However JFK does not fit on the album, in my opinion. Can the song unfortunately not do anything - anything. I think the song rather strange: "He is quite trivial, without depth and without substance.
The intro is fierce. Despite everything Planktonweed, City of God, No Cooperacion con la Policia, GTA Bikini Bottom and Drive by shooting are the strongest. Hasta la Vista, however, is rather weak. Too bad that the sponge with this song finished his album. I am aware that this is his debut album, do not worry, but unlike his previous "works", I'm used to another and would set to "Drive by shooting" a Cut)
The God of Battle CD: Hm ... are songs that you already know. My guess is, as if the God of Battle Edition only a means to an end have been, so the box is full, so you can say, "Yow, I have three CD's at the start yah."
The positive thing is that each CD has its own bracket. That was very reassuring: D
My conclusion: In itself, the box, I would say gently, okay, because for the price of just under forty eating, I have just a little more and higher quality expected. It may be that I am too narrow-minded, petty or philistine, but for forty Euro I definitely expect more. Therefore, it is quite sufficient, the tape Planktonweed be ordered without the specials, because the songs (yes, certainly those who are on the God of Battle Edition, but you know them already) are top. Had I bought only the songs, it would certainly become five star ...
