I have the game now has just over 2 weeks and am just before the first play through (1 Boss and 3 Optional stand still). And I am almost 40 years in the middle of life, have a full time job'm married and father of two boys (9 & 11). Clear I do not come to gamble sometimes 2 or 3 days at a time. But all are not reasons to master that make it impossible for me Bloodborne. No not at all, and I have even more fun of the game;)
I can quite understand that this type of game everyone's taste and is also often called "hardening" of the difficulty people may scare. But I think if you look once it gets involved and especially the high barrier of entry (not a tutorial, how does what and why? For what the items are? And anyway, there is not there any introduction? What do the letters mean when the weapons? etc. overcame), expects a game where you can celebrate right sense of achievement. To have killed a boss, is a great feeling. Especially since, although they are crisp designed, but never unfair. If you realize that some things are missing to kill, one can also again "farms" 2-3 Levels go (is done relatively quickly), or you call a players online to help (That works quite perfectly - usually at least * g *)
Another point of criticism are the sparse set "Save Spots" or "memory points". But that's what makes the game so well from that one um ... with bloodborne course may lose blood echoes his hard-won souls. Here, in each Arreal always 1-2 Abbreviations unlockable available that make it at least possible always relatively quickly when the bosses to be (if you were since been there). As I said these criticisms in my opinion are not relevant because it is a fundamental point in the "series" (I count Demon Souls and Dark Souls Just looking to it) are.
Now to my own personal conclusion ...
as a veteran of the gameplay is the biggest change that the combat system is now much more aggressive and action-heavy. War in the predecessors nor a sign of this essential now has no relevance. Instead, now carries a firearm with him -What with me but a shadowy existence fristet-. Also that it is possible, within a small time window previously lost health points by own attack back to "regenerate", gives the whole combat system a certain dynamic. I think whether one is good or bad is a personal decision. I liked the sign with the mess about in the Souls games, but find it quite refreshing as it is now regulated in bloodborne.
So you fight through a world that is visually nice to look at and broadly as may be graphically well known. A graphic on PS3 level "(as has been written in other reviews), it is definitely not. Clearly there is here and there flickering edges and smaller" frame drops ", but this is so rare and occurs to me hardly, so I mind me not sturgeons. Graphic is personally not important for me, but with a good gameplay because I can ignore good about some "impropriety". What can really nervous, are the load times. If you want to travel from one area to another, you always have the driving dream the hunter as a stopover. So you have that take 2x loading times then a total of approximately one minute before you can move on. This is quite modest. I hope there but on the
announced patch of yes to shorten load times.
The world is once again kept extremely bleak and as for the strange inhabitants and Beasts, reminds me very much of all Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos. The setting speaks to me in any case, very :)
The character system is a little purifies. I personally feel a little pity. I always found it quite exciting in the predecessors to skill and having to decide whether I would rather be a specialist or rather 'ne eggs Wollmilchsau. In Bloodborne although you can also assign the skill points free but an entirely new class has actually never.
Otherwise, everything is as usual. Who is playing patiently, first around the corner to drink 'nen healing potion instead of executing the "final blow" should reduce its death toll to probably 50% looks rather simple to run and sometimes rather takes a backward step. I simply say that most deaths are simply due to a boisterous play.
I do not want to analyze each part of the gameplay now that others have done here already extensively and better than I could ever. To me it was just a need throughout the 1-star reviews to oppose. Especially since Bloodborne for me personally is the best ever PS4 game and the vast majority of criticisms not be if people had simply informed in advance a little bit about the game and its predecessors. I think compared to Demon's Souls or Dark Souls Bloodborne has already become much easier;)
Addendum: Since yesterday I have the platinum trophy and I am now in the NG ++ (ie, in the 3rd cycle of the story - where the 2nd pass and only a fraction of the time took to complete that lasted the first (I think for the 2nd pass I only have about seven hours used), which was partly due to the fact that I left out all the optional bosses and boss mechanics were already known yes). This already shows how much fun I had with the game. Especially the dungeons on the way to Platinum Trophy off the story have really liked me again. There, in my opinion, the two waited toughest bosses in the game: "The overseer of the princes" and "amygdala" in desecrated cup (there you have only 50% HP). The whole thing was indeed associated with blood, sweat and tears of frustration but never came up because there was a steady learning process. I will now go until further notice once in hunter retirement and put the game first to the side.
Those who need help should join the group on Facebook "Bloodborne Germany". Very helpful and above all "adult" community. There you can also read a lot and find other players. Allen still roam through the dark alleys of Yharnam, I still want a good hunt :)
