For me replica batteries come from third parties out of the question. Either they fit only the tape trick in the camera, have even less capacity than the already undersized originals, if ever provide an inaccurate indication of the remaining time or you have reasons of cost to the overload protection dispensed etc ...
With such an important component of the digital camera I rely rather on the high quality of the original. The relatively short mileage in my power-hungry Sony and the still long charging time of 4 hours deny the original battery in view of the high price the full score. That's why I can forgive mediocre 3 of 5 stars and hope that I will always find with two batteries in all situations my questioning. ;)
